Atmosphere and uniqueness bring the greatest satisfaction to Michael when he’s looking for photographic subjects. Such fleeting, one-off moments may be infrequent, but he feels especially lucky that such a brilliant photogenic landmark as Glastonbury Tor is on his doorstep.
From working with professionals as a journalist, he became interested in capturing moods evoked by the Tor at differing times of the day, particularly daybreak. Some of best of these photos have been sold locally as postcards, prints and posters for the last 27 years.
